No Opera icon on taskbar with 11.51

I upgraded to 11.51 and now there is no Opera icon on the task bar. It has been replaced with a generic 'white sheet of paper with the corner turned down'.

Any ideas how to get something more noticeable?

Never seen this. What did you do wrong? Right-click on the shortcut, properties, change icon, and browse to the Opera program folder to select opera.exe and choose an icon from that.

I answered 'Yes' when it asked if I wanted to upgrade.

Stupid of me, I know.

Do you think it might have been the way I pressed the 'Yes' button (using the mouse, roughly centred on said button), which was the only input I had to the upgrade process?

Not at all. There's a corrupt image, Windows is replacing that with the generic image. How the image got that way, I have no idea ...
