Image (logo) as a signature

Yes, I did do a search - it turned up 5 results, none of which had the answer.
I went to the signature editor, selected insert image, but then it asks for a web address!
The image (logo) is on my desk top - surely I should be able to browse to it?
Many thanks.

It's the wrong forum for this question about the Opera Mail client, but I found a workaround: Convert your image to a data URL with an online tool like for example http://websemantics.co.uk/online_tools/image_to_data_uri_convertor/result/

Then choose to Insert HTML and copy paste the output from the above tool, typically <img width="50" height="50" title="" alt="" src="...>

Apologies for posting in the wrong forum - which forum should it be in?
Thank you for the work around.
Perhaps in the next version of Opera, you could just browse to an image on my computer?

Time will tell. Opera developers are gong to do a hefty Opera Mail client update with Opera 12, as confirmed by one Opera desktop team member, so it may or may not include this.
Windows 7 SP1 x86 edition and Windows XP Service Pack 3.

I'm not sure is this is also solution (never try it), but if you need URL for image you can upload it to your files

wrench icon (top right)---> files---> upload you img there and then take that URL
“What makes the desert beautiful,' said the little prince, 'is that somewhere it hides a well...”

blue theme O18+ only (no, not for adult, but only works from 18 next p )

This workaround has some limitations:
1. The image will be "spoiled" if someone replies to such an e-mail (a strange bar will be displayed instead of the image)
2. The image is not displayed in Outlook, which has no problems with images in e-mail signatures
