add multitouch gestures

Hi,

The gestures are very convenient when they are used with a mouse. Unfortunatly they are less convenient with a touch pad.
Some PC have a multi-touch touch pad.
Would it be possible to have multi touch gestures to go back an forward ?

An other proposal for a mono-touch touch pad :
When you swipe from the left edge of the touch pad this trigger a back ; when you swipe the right you trigger a forward.

This solution could also be used on mobile devices.

-1, OS should provide gesture recognition and then expose as back/forward/scroll/whatever to the app.

Are gestures not part of Windows 7? This blog says "scroll, right-click, back, forward, zoom, and rotate" are supported, although later it says some features will need code in the app to support them.

For nox1492, you could try something like this to map gestures to keyboard shortcuts perhaps.
