Will Battellog (for Battlefield 3) be compatible/supported by Opera?

I'm a hardcore Battlefield fan, and now there is a new astonishing game coming out.
It will use the web browser of the player to open the game, while also working as a social networking site.
I've been fortunate enough to be granted to play in both the Alpha and the Beta.

However, as Opera is my standard web browser, it is a bit extra work to re open the battlelog site in IE and running the game from there.
I'm just wondering if Opera will support the battlelog website fully, or is this something that should've been run by the Battlefield guys?

(Not sure if I posted this in the right forum, however all help/answer will be appreciated)

Website authors should ensure that their site works in all browsers (that's why there are "standards").
Version 11.xx (Snapshot Builds) Windows XP SP3

I'm playing BF3, too. I find it works perfectly fine from Opera, it's just not officially supported by EA/Dice, so they have to say that.

How did you make it work Finray? I have Opera 11.51... and Battlelog still says my browser isn't fully supported, it wants me to install a pluginn (which I have done at least twice)

Has any of you got crashing issues with Flash after using battlelog. I think thats the source of my problem. If I log in to battlelog and then watch a youtube-video Opera crashes after I press play.

Can anybody (dis)confirm, really annoying smile

You could edit the site preferences to identify (or mask) as Firefox and it will allow you to do everything just fine. Not sure if it fully works if you don't do that.

Can anyone replicate, and if you are knowledgeable at the flash implementation(or battlelog plugin) find a fix?

I'm not sure if it's specifically with flash, as Opera crashes for me when I go to install the browser plugin update.

When I load battlelog again, it's as if it was never updated sad.

Battlelog works fine for me, but I don't have any other extensions than the battlelogthing in opera.

What version of Opera are you running?.

Opera 11.51 on windows 7 64-bit. The crashing only occurs when I am logged in to battlelog.
