Email Subject Line Missingomputer running XP
I am using Opera 11.5 on a computer running XP. Yesterday when I tried to compose an email I found the Subject line on the form was missing. The Compose window starts immediately below the BCC line. When I called up past messages I had sent the same form appeared - no Subject line. I have no idea what happened to make this change, nor how to fix it. Ideas anyone? The problem is now solved! I found that if i am composing email one of the icons in the toolbar vis labeled "View". Clicking on this produces a list of options such that any of the entries in the emails header can be removed (why one would want to remove the "To" line baffles me). In this case the check mark for the "Subject" line had been inadvertently removed. Clicking on "Subject" restored the line in the header.
I can find nothing in the Help files which addresses this issue, and, from the lack of responses to my email, no one knows that option exists. Now you all do!
