Clicking brings up browser menu

Hi folks
So my experience is today I set up my Dell Inspiron 6400 and load up my trusty Opera with last used tabs. Now a little pop-out menu appears on and blocks the webpage content and Opera's functions. I tried restarting, I tried updating (it's been asking to update for approx 3 months now) but this menu keeps showing up.

I shows up over the video on youtube pages, and randomly on any other page. I click an object or function and it just reopens the menu.

I'm sorry, I know this would probably be solved if I reinstalled Opera. But I don't want to lose any data. Also, I'm sure Opera should be debugged to the point one never has to reinstall.

Thank you

Yes. With no change.

We can consider this "solved", even though it's not, because:
I've since identified this problem as a problem with my laptop. Either the mouse or the keyboard is sending signals it shouldn't. It would be a great help though if someone could tell me what keystroke/mouse-gesture brings up this menu.

For consistency: the second program this fault appears in is Heroes of Might & Magic III. Sending a hero down pre-ordained route, he'd stop after each square as if I'm pressing the left-click button to order him so.

I've removed both my keyboard and mouse. Opera still does this menu thing.

Ok. I didn't catch that the first time.

The problem is resolved. Many thanks for your patience.
