Disable new mail popup
I currently get a popup (bottom right of screen) for new messages from both my mail account and my news account. Is there any way to make it only show a popup for the mail account?16 parrots and reproducing fast!

No, there's only the one setting that controls notification for all incoming messages.
Are you talking about Newsfeeds (RSS and Atom) or Usenet Newsgroups BTW? The latter can easily be stopped from periodically updating in the accoutn settings, and that's of course a way to stop notifications for incoming messages from those accounts.

It's usenet newsgroups, and I do want it to download new messages automatically, I just don't want to be notified. Ah well. I can distinguish between the accounts by putting a sound on the email ones....
