No toolbar is allowed in Opera.

Unlike internet explorer and firefox, Opera can't be spammed with good-for-nothing toolbars.
Moreover stop using norton, use Eset Nod32 or Eset Smart Security instead. For details, have a look at anti-virus comparison:

Please do not be an anti-virus advisor in this case. You can do that at your blog if you want or the Software forum in the Lounge but not this forum.

Sorry i didn't actually mean to advise eset. I just wanted him to take a look at independent av tests conducted by a reliable organization, then feel free to decide what to use. I also want to make it clear that i have nothing to do with eset or the organization conducting av tests. I will be careful next time.

I already know that. Otherwise I would have reported you as an advertiser to Moderators.

There are many Independent AV testing organizations, for example, one I know of is AV-TEST. Out of them we cannot decide which one is reliable and which one is not until we actually see their testing methods.

Chill, don't take this post too seriously. But yes if next time you want to say stop using Antivirus x, then post Antivirus x doesn't stack up against other anti-viruses as seen in independent tests conducted by various organizations.

It's not bad to recommend someone to stop using an antivirus, for example, I can recommend stop using McAfee as it's a RAM-eater and also a weak AV but I won't say use antivirus x instead of McAfee, rather I would give him a link to a list of Microsoft-certified AV providers.

I dont think norton toolbar actually adds up to something. Infact norton itself has its live network scanner and stops malware as soon as its downloaded or the site is blocked.

I think i have posted similar post much much earlier, might be an ancient post.

It does if you use Norton Internet Security or Norton 360. Norton Identity Safe is a part of Norton Toolbar.
