Hardware acceleration???

Found here that Opera is weak in the animation, and remembered that in 11.50 such as promising to make hardware acceleration, but was postponed until better times.

Proof Link - http://webcolori.ru/demo/cosmos/index.html
in Opera 11.51 - average fps = 15

in IE 9 - fps 29
in Safari - fps 7
in Chrome - fps 25

it will be implemented in 12 branch or I missed something? why so low fps in our browser ...
I'm sorry for my bad english...

Opera developers do not disclose when a feature will be there in Opera.
Windows 7 SP1 x86 edition and Windows XP Service Pack 3.

How did you measure the FPS? I can't see them displayed somewhere.

Work quite fluent for me, although Opera needs about twice as much CPU than IE9 and it's more fluent there.

You won't get a specific date, when HW/accel will become public, but as there has been a labs build you can probably guess that there IS some work going on...
Using Windows 7 64Bit SP1 and of course Opera
(If nothing else stated the most current weekly) on a nice Dell Studio XPS 16!
