Opera mini 6 and 5 do not reconnect after an idle time or the connection loss

Hello!
Opera mini 6 and 5 do not restore a 3G/GPRS connection after several idle hours or the connection loss. The connection loss happens for a minute during traveling or in an elevator. By several idle hours I mean when I do not download pages for several hours.
The phone is Nokia 5230.
I have to restart Opera to restore the connection every time. I lose all the open pages by restarting the Opera.
How to make Opera mini 6 restore the 3G/GPRS without the restarting?
Regards,
kopn

you can test this behaviour with sync link set off and post here the result?

Thanks for your reply!
I have tested this behaviour with sync link set off. The setting off does not help.

it's better to perform the connection test after startup or keep alive the build-in browser connection in background and see how it goes. Also you could send a report to http://mini.bugs.opera.com

Switch to HTTP protocol.

Switching to HTTP does not help. I have the same problem with Opera Mobile 11 too, which does not have the socket connection.

I do not have any problems after the Opera start-up. The problem appears after losing the connection for a minute or after several idle hours.
Even if the build-in browser reconnects, the Opera does not reconnect.
Keeping the build-in browser in background increases battery consumption and slows down the 5230.
I'm creating the report.

not really, is not acting like a shadow connection. For example with sync link enabled the battery will be drained faster forcing the connection to stay on, you can try that too.

I have used with sync link on and off. This has not affected the main problem.
