dragonfly doesn't work

Please, even though I would like to join your enthousiasme about this tool, i can not.

Installed opera couple of months ago, dragonfly panel stays empty.

Installed opera yesterday (11.51), dragonfly panel stays empty.

What makes it so different that i don't have troubles using firebug or the debugger from IE or from chrome..??


Perhaps you could mention in the notification panel that it requires access to some server...?
I don't know.

I can use it when not behind our company firewall, ie not on my developer machine.
But i can't using it from my developer machine (behind company firewall)

It's a large company where i can't ask to change the fw-rules for a browser that is very little used/known.

Please make this issue more clear while starting or trying to use dragonfly.

You can use local copy of Dragonfly, for example, like in this article:

Does it access a remote server? Jus' wonderin'.

Tech info:
Computer: TC1100 Tablet pc
OS: Windows xp, tablet edition.
CPU: Intel, pentium m
Ghz: 1.2, single core.
RAM: 512 mb.
Internet speed: 1 mb a second, and it actually downloads at 0.23 mb a second.
