After I "Load images" in a mail, can I unload them?

Some email I get have a bar across the top of the message....

This message contains blocked images Always load messages from *****@yahoo.com Load Images

I can click the box to "Load Images" but later I want to view that email without those images. How can I do that?

Open up the message and in the header bar, click the drop-down next to the address. There you should be able to uncheck "Load images from this contact". If you're doing this on a spam message, you might have to mark it as not spam first before you can check/uncheck the setting.

Also, I think that if you already chose to load the images for a particular message, since the damage is already done, even if you uncheck "load images from this contact" for a contact, that message might still load the images and the setting will only affect newer messages. Something like that. I forget.

Yes, Opera remembers that you OK'd the loading of external content for a message. You can't undo this.

Bummer.
I'm sure you used to be able to do this with the "embed" button that I had (and now does nothing).

Unchecking that item seems to block external messages again even for old messages. At least on latest Opera 12 build.

So where does it remember this? Can I manually undo this by editing some file. Or maybe by deleting a file?

I guess I never tried this as it works, duh.

Ok, something is screwy. If you check the box to always load images from this email then you can undo it. BUT if you just choose to load images you can't undo it.

Right, that's how it works. The idea is that if you click 'load images', you don't mind the privacy issue for this message, and it doesn't make much sense to later start caring again. It would also be annoying to have to tell again and again that you want to trust this message. It is different with trusting a sender mail address, there it makes much more sense to be able to change your mind.

Oops, there goes Opera telling me what I mind and don't mind! lol

Truth is Rijk, sometimes I want to see the embeds and sometimes I don't. That's why before I had installed a "Embed" button that I could click on or off.

Just to clarify here. There is no drop down next to the address! yikes I was going nuts looking for it! BUT, if you left click on the address you will get a drop down box that you can uncheck "load images from this contact.

Yeh, they removed the little arrow to the right of it that shows you can click the address to bring down a menu. I'm just used to saying it like I did. I adjust that in the future to be clear. Thanks.
