Go to adobe.com and download Adobe X. Adobe 9 is obsolete. Un-Install the Older version first. Also download the latest Java from Java site and un install any older versions. If you have a 64 bit (this advice applies to Windows users) then that is the larger file to download.
Once Adobe is downloaded click on the icon to verify the agreement. On way to have the latest downloads is to use the Secunia PSI updater.
