Speed Dial
Hello All,As a long time Firefox user, I've been a big user of the fast dial plugin. Firefox's accelerated deployment schedule constantly breaks this feature, so I've decided to try a change to another browser which supports this feature. The speeddial feature is a great start, however I would be interested in the following features:
- easy customization of the number of rows and columns
- ability to create folders to place other speed dials to allow for grouping
- consistent speed dial support across browser versions (mobile versus desktop)
I believe that I'll switch over to the Opera browser on my mobile devices (phone and tablet), I'm really hooked on the security add-ons within Firefox (https everywhere, ghostery, no script, ad block, better privacy, certificate patrol) that I'll likely not switch over to using the desktop browser, since it lacks these add-ons.
I'm really pleased with the mobile browser, with the exception of tweaking the speed dial. Unless there is a way to display bookmarks in a thumbnail format, I think my only hope is put my vote in for improving speed dial.
Great browser, like to see variety!

This is my first post. Unfortunately, I cannot see your post as I type! (Would that facility be useful to others, too?) You mentioned folders for speed-dials. Yes, it is nice in Firefox. But, I too had Firefox update woes. And laptop crashes in WIndows 7 with Opera. So, I put Linux on my desktop: First, Linux Mint, then Zorin. I am using Zorin Ultimate now. At least, viruses are history. One browser alone is just too risky. Just as one operating system is. Though, I prefer the elegance of Opera and its superior Bookmarks.
