MyOpera issues continue on Opera Mini

There are several problems that have made, and still makes using MyOpera Web site difficult on Opera Mini. Several of these issues have been reported already, long time ago, but they seem to come and go:

1) Wrong pages get opened when links clicked. Currently this seem to happen on both: 'desktop view' and 'mobile view'. Especially this occur for links closer to top of the pages at MyOpera.

2) No link to album sort page on 'mobile view'. This is a several year old issue. Luckily they brought th 'desktop view' back at MyOpera. Before that there was rather long period when only way to get to album sort page was to find out what the address is for it and save it to personal bookmarks.

3) Upload form for albums is unreliable. I have no idea if this is because of me using slow 2G connection, because of my operator, or because of MyOpera servers not waiting long enough. But the problem is that it seem to be impossible to get pictures uploaded to MyOpera albums on Opera Mini using slow connection.

4) News button not displayed on every page. At some point the button at top right corner that indicate there are unread news was totally missing on several pages. Then it was fixed. And now it seem to getting worse again. On albums when seeing one picture, the button is not displayed. When opening a thread on forums, the button is missing.

5) MyOpera top menu does not work as it should. Currently menus work only on 'mobile view' but the menus get all opened. Few days ago they worked somewhat normally. On 'desktop view' there's not even links available on main headers.

EDIT: Maybe some of these should be reported at MyOpera feedback forum, and I thnk they are, but still not fixed.

1. Especially for feeds link.
5. Disable fold links as workaround.
Wrong links must be related with myopera menu because some links are mapped wrongly on server side. As a novelty barracuda's Presto 2.8 engine come up in opera mini UA string and I guess that myopera js must be updated.

And on my BB, if I click on the "new" link, it almost always places me much farther down the page than it should. I haven't found any work around for it, other than scrolling back up every single time I open a thread.

Yes, I have the same issue, and forgot to mention that on the first post. Jump to new unread post worked for awhile after latest MyOpera update, but then it started to jump too far down.

Well, that's certainly not where I would have looked for the solution! I did have fold links disabled before, but it must have reverted when I upgraded.

thanks,

Interesting sherlock I did that and remembered even to save the settings. I think it fixed:
- the wrong link issue
- menu errors
- news link jump to too far error

And still the menus open minimized and can be expanded at MyOpera bigeyes Thanks a lot Sagrid up

No delete button... no checklist to delete all mail...

Edit: Why can't the full interface be the default? The default interface is tricky to use.

I've noticed for the last few days My Opera loads zoomed out with blank space on the right.
Did work fine previously though.

when I change font size to small the text stretches across the screen. With font size large I get even more blank space on the right.
btw there isn't any noticeable difference in the size of characters when font size is changed to either of the options.

yup same here, this issue needs to be fixed. Also in opera forums, when i click on my active topics, i get "latest news of the week" page and not my topics.
