[All 12.00 builds] Impossible to edit the names of the folders in the Feeds panel. Workaround?

Hi, since the 1033 build in July, it's impossible to edit the names of the folders in the Feeds panel, at creation they all receive the uneditable name "New Folder". Right-click + rename doesn't work.

I subscribe to a lot of feeds and i keep them organized in folders, and because of this bug i have now a bunch of "New Folder" folders in my feeds panel... cry I'm sure (well, i hope) that the desktop team will eventually fix this bug before 12.00 release but meanwhile is there a workaround? Maybe by editing some file in the mail directory?

Thanks for your help! By the way, i filed a bug report (DSK-345736). Windows 7 x64 here.

It's a bug that will be solved before a final release. Hopefully in a snapshot way before that, but it is impossible to give a specific date.

Make sure nothing is selected in the feeds access point. You can ctrl + click to deselect the last item. Then, right-click on the Feeds access point header and choose new folder. That one will be editable when created.

If you want to rename a feed folder, just create another folder with the name you want. Then, drag (one by one) the feeds in the current folder to that folder and delete the original. Or, close down Opera and edit index.ini in the mail folder with a text editor. Find the index for the label you want to rename and change its name.

That should give you enough workarounds while you wait.

Excellent tip, thanks!
By the way, it works for me even without deselecting the feeds first, the important thing here being that you must right click on the header, not on a feed or a folder.
