How do I get the directional pad in Opera Mini 6.1?

I used to use Opera Mini 5 Beta or whatever the version before 6 was, and it had a directional thing on the side of the disaply. which I could use to scroll up and down with. However, I've put 6.1 on my phone - a Samsung Tocco Lite - and the directional thing's gone. How can I get it back?
