How to use the tooltip as a title when bookmarking the links?

Hello All,

I wish to use tooltip displayed for the link as the title when I am creating a bookmark for the link.
When I am watching a video on a site like youtube there is a list of related videos on the right side of the page.
If the title of the link is long it is truncated but hovering a mouse over the link reveals the full title. So what I am looking for
is a way to use tooltip as the title when I click "Bookmark link" in the context menu.

Although I can open links in the new page and then bookmark it, I do not wish to do that. I am using these bookmarked links as a reminder for the videos that I am yet to see. So someone please let me know how to achieve it.

Thanks smile

Just type the bookmark name you want to use in the Add Bookmark dialogue when it comes up.

I am not sure if you understood what I am looking for? Typing the name is always an option but I am looking to semi-automate it if not full-automation.

Thanks smile

I understand, but that's the most efficient option AFAIK. The title tag doesn't show up anywhere in the Add bookmark dialogue. Title tags are often way too long to identify bookmarks anyway. Three words are usually enough. Just look at the title of this thread for example. Do you really want all that in your bookmarks?

Yeah that's long for bookmark, I do not want that. It's better to type.
Thank you Pesala for clarifying my doubt smile

Thanks.

The original subject ... seems to be what Opera already does. If a link actually has a title set (like say, the link on the date in this post, which displays the tooltip "permanent link to post") then Opera uses it as the bookmark title by default. Though that's not a title you'd really want there. Most other links on this page don't have titles ... which goes to show you that it's not a great way to set bookmark titles for links, but I guess it is what they have.
