Problem - Elements not receiving events
I'm seeing a very strange issue in Opera... I've tested in IE, FF, Chrome, Android, and about a dozen others and only see this in Opera.I have a well formed table with multiple rows and columns. All contain div elements that then contain elements that may be labels or images. I have onclick actions defined for each of the label and image elements.
The strangeness is that the elements in the bottom half of the table behave fine and onclick events arrive at the correct handlers for the label or image elements. However, in the top half, the onclick events only arrive at the onclick action (installed only for testing) for the table parent element. Event in the document browser tab of dragonfly clicking on the top half of the table selects the table element while clicking on elements in the bottom half of the table select the correct elements.
This table and all elements are generated in javascript so are all generated identically. I've carefully reviewed each element to insure they are all complete and correct as far as standards.
The site is imaiy.com. Unfortunately, this is a game that requires and free account to play so anyone checking this out will just need to create an account and to access the game.
As a side note, Opera creates tons of extraneous text nodes (such as "text \n\u0020\u0020\u0020") for all the white space lines in the html files. As I understand it, all white space in the 'head' and 'body' elements should be ignored unless it is inside a sub element.
