MissingShort cut mudbox.exe error..
Everytime I try to launch opera, I get an error saying "Windows is searching for mudbox.exe. To locate the file yourself, click 'Browse.'"It shows up twice, I press cancel twice, it goes away, then opera starts. It also shows up when I launch the uninstaller to uninstall it, and also when I install it. (I'd initially installed Mudbox after I'd installed Opera.) I have had this error occur on at least 3 separate installs over the last few months. Its a perpetual problem that repeats itself.
Another person had this problem and there were some suggestions made in this area of teh forum
all of which I tried and didn't correct the problem.
I don't want to have to uninstall Opera but this bites. No other software has this issue.
Thanks in advance.
same problem also with mudbox/opera (running on 7 x64 systems, all updated). Also, if you install Alias Sketch, there is also a missing shortcut problem, twice, as Mudbox do. These two come from Autodesk, and there isn't problems with other browers.
No problem is these two are unpinned from taskbar. No problems with 3dsmax or autocad, wich are other autodesk products too.
I had this problem on three different computers... seems a little bug between opera and these two ??

I'm having the same problem, except with PhpStorm.exe (a PHP IDE from JetBrains). Note that it doesn't happen on all machines; I have a similar install (Windows 7 Ultimate vs Windows 7 Enterprise) that also has the latest Opera and latest PHP Storm.
I've tried uninstalling Opera leaving data as well as completely uninstalling, and in both cases I'm prompted twice to browse for PhpStorm.exe. I searched the registry and no relevant entries containing "PhpStorm.exe" were found, there's nothing unusual in any of the Opera registry trees, and the Opera shortcut doesn't reference the executable at all. I also tried unpinning PHP Storm from the taskbar and launching Opera, but it still complains about the missing shortcut.
I've repeatedly pointed Windows at the shortcut and the executable (the former of which I suspect it uses to get to the latter). This has no effect.
