Send mail freezes opera (only first mail since start)
when sending the first mail since the start of opera, the browser hangs for some 10-20 secs when pressing 'send'.it's an old issue, see this thread:

but now, on lion, editing the /etc/hosts file doesn't fix it anymore.
neither does unchecking
prefs/advanced/network/server name completion/look for local network machine.
any help greatly appreciated!
