US-international layer dead keys don t work
Hi all,I just switched from Firefox to Opera yesterday on a Ubuntu. Opera really seems to be a great browser, but I have a quite embarrassing problem: I have an USA Alternative International keyboard layer (formerly named us-intl) to easily write accented characters, but Opera doesn t take dead keys into account (see, I can t write a quote!). I have searched some piece of information about that on the forum, but it seems this problem has not been discussed yet.
Thanks by advance for your enlightenments!
Works fine for me. Do you also have an IME installed and running and if so which one.
Edit: At a guess depending on what you selected during installation, Ubuntu may have setup and configured iBus, If so disable it. You may also want to read: http://my.opera.com/ruario/blog/show.dml/23499622#comment58645142

Hi Ruario,

Many thanks!
