Occupy Wall Street redux; NYPD gets millions from big banks

The question must be asked if the NYPD unlawful actions against the Occupy Wall Street protesters are influenced by big donations from the likes of JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs. Do we really want the constitution to be wholly purchased by private interests? Then what's the point of the country?

Well, well... this can turn into a serious thing... the truth being that they're not wrong...

The FLEA PARTY -- Occupiers -- are just a bunch of self-centered, victim card playing, Anti-American, Anti-Capitalist, Pro-Socialist/Communist, disgruntled losers with no message or direction at all, & who can't wait till it all breaks out into complete mayhem.

They are just itching to destroy & pillage.

I wonder how long the cops are going to let it go, because all I hear from those in the professional law enforcement field I deal with is that they won't be letting these people get far out of hand before they step in in a big way.

Our numbers grow if every insult, so by all means keep it up. Why is that? Maybe that's a question better asked of the 45,000 hardworking people in Las Vegas that have seen the banks get the bailouts, and yet the mortage payments increase (like our just did..again), the bank jack up the fees, and than foreclose. Maybe that's why we have tea party members joining in the Occupy protests. Perhaps you're not only out of touch with with what's happening in this country, but what's going on in the hearts of some of your own tea party members. Herman Cain was fool enough to say the Occupiers it's about wanting somebody else's Cadillac. Let's just say ignorance like that is part of why he's not going to win.

Because he can't afford to go to the dentist either with the costs in the US. He doesn't grasp that he's actually protesting for the system that keeping him toothless both metaphorically and literally.

This is an old, old strategy.

But short of violence, assuming the constitution still held up, peaceful protest would be completely legitimate.

Yeah, I read about that idiocy myself. In fairness, there have been liberals that went to the tea party protests to make that movement looks bad. But at least they took pictures of racist and misspelled placecards and recorded them saying silly things instead of trying to instigate them to break the law (by breaking the law themselves...) Do they really think we're about destruction being an unruly mob? Just shows how clueless these conservatives are.

Nothing can compare to Glenn Beck's paranoia. "...they will drag you out into the street and kill you!" What the hell? No.

Y'know, it's the funniest doggone thing, but--- I want more of what I earn. And, in a strange way, I find myself siding with the Occupiers. Maybe it's because I get tired of seeing good men who work hard all their lives getting short shrift while the bankers and CEOs get ever larger bonuses for running the place into the ground.

I hold some Tea Party principles too, but I have little use for some of those who head the thing. They're the same folk who helped get us into this mess in the first place, and now they expect us to believe they can get us out-- by following the same ideas that got us here to begin with.

In case you haven't noticed, this economy wasn't the brain-child of Obama and his merry band, it's been building for a while under both Democrat and Republican governments.

Yeah, in today's Las Vegas Review Journal (the local daily here) it said that the GOP candidates were pointing their fingers at Obama for the meltdown. That's truly amazing since the meltdown happened before Obama took office... This also reminds me, has anyone else noticed the deep involvement of Godman-Sachs in both GOP and Democratic administrations. Tea party types like to point to Goldman-Sachs influence on the Obama administration, but it's a lie by omission.

Well, I've decided to listen more rather than just commenting on what I've seen, & following my gut feelings about this 'band of mindless gypsies' assemblage of wholesome youngsters.

This guy makes a lot of sense, but like I said, I'll listen more..........besides I'm on a sort of vacation at my home down south---way down south, so I'll be posting when I get the chance, or only when the mood strikes me.

OK, I stopped the video after 8 seconds. Why? Because this guy wasn't going to waste anymore of my time then that. Not going forward, yes..spreading throughout the US and taking root overseas is not going forward; politicians and even the mainstream media finally taking notice isn't going forward. Your friend is all visceral, clueless anger on this one.
