Strange Speed Dial thumbnails

Using XP/SP3 I've just regraded from v10.10 to v11.51.
On thee of the sites, (http://climateaudit.org/, http://wattsupwiththat.com/ and http://judithcurry.com/) all which discuss climate change the thumbnail has changed to a large blue "W" instead of a preview of the relevant page.
I've deleted the Speed Dial entries and reloaded them but they all come up with the "W". If I revert to v10.10 they come up correctly.
I believe that all three of those sites are hosted by WordPress.

So are you (Pesala) saying that the manner in which it works in v11.51 is the intended manner and that it was wrong in v10.10?

Speed Dial has changed from 10.10 to 11.51. 10.10 has SD 1.0 and 11.51 has SD 2.0.

But, as said, you can customize it to be the way you like or very close to it at least.

11.01 is the last version of Opera that speed dial work as it has for the last 4-5-6 years. At that time Opera was the only browser with speed dial. During the last 2 months I have gradually been using Firefox more and more. (After 100% Opera the last 5-6-7 years.) Because my 7 x 5 speed dial reload and reload in 11.1 and further on. From 11.1 it is not possible to define 35 empty speed dials and then select e.g. number 20 and choose that for www.xxx.com... You have to start with number 1, than 2....

Opera, please make a security update for 11.01! I am using that for all 3 computers. And take a look at Firefox extension speed dial 0.9.5.8. You have something to learn!

They won't do that.

You have something to learn. You can set "opera:blank" as the URL for any speed dial, and replace the speed dial instead of deleting it.

I have 4 x 4 fixed slots using custom thumbnails, and none of them update.
