It's Facebook updating everything, for some reason things are not going as planned. The new Facebook timeline profile, for example is not compatible with Opera desktop browser, either. They just completely redesigned touch.facebook.com. As you see Facebook is working on a lot of stuff, just be patient. In the meantime you can send screenshots from your phone to www.Facebook.com/help and make sure you let them know you're using Opera!

will rather letting the Opera Tech guys sorting it out in between with the Facebook Tech guys in that ways Opera explaining it all to Facebook without problems & troubles

so Facebook have to be supporting all both Past to Present into Future Opera Browser versions and all Mobile & Devices platforms there are thats my take on that to be solved

Same here. Opera 10.63/Win98SE. FB works with ancient FireFox 1.5 though! :-) Also K-Meleon. From perusing the threads I guess there's no config setting I need to alter to make it work? In that case I'll now use m.facebook.com. That still works with O 10.63. Whew, I can stop wasting time. FB idiots don't even put up a proper explanation.

THANK You christine1377 I have tried for 2 weeks to get facebook to work with Opera. It worked with my other browsers but the other browsers are SO SO slow and I hated them, but to no avail facebook would NOT work with opera UNTILL today when I read your post, so I didn't think it would work by turning off the java, but figured I'd give it a try since I tried everything else, and to my surprise IT WORKED, I'm just in complete shock because I never thought that facebook would work with opera again, and thought that I was going to have to settle using the other dumb browsers for facebook. Thank you thank you thank you christine1377. You are smart.

I went back today and it works again. This is after I deleted all facebook cookies and permissions a week ago. It seems that it runs in 'noscript' mode now. It didn't used to work in that mode so I guess it is now Opera compatible. My Opera is setup with javascript and plugins and third party cookies off except by special permission. Revoking facebook seems to have made it work. Odd.

I know. I still have the same problem. I just downloaded opera mini and it offers a mobile version. It's almost as crappy as the one the phone offers but atleast it updates a little faster. As for the phone, tmobile said it was because of facebook making changes. I don't think so. I don't think they are going to fix this. I'm switching to AT&T and getting an Iphone because this phone truly is a disgrace. I mean, come on, an good phone but it's windows OS is a true disappointment and on top of that you can't download android games because the phone is an android. 500 bucks down the drain.

First of all it's not java, but javascript. Second, no, disabling javascript in the "site preferences" (context menu) makes facebook just not loading the feed. How can you say it helps?

I think, Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 3.0 Honeycomb installed. Then why did you post in Windows Mobile Forum?
You're a newbie and it's common smile

You can post it in Opera Mobile for Android Forums. Link:
