PROBLEM with address bar history: NEW alpha version 12.00 win7

Adress has become invissible after opera updated itself. The logo's are still there and the links still work . How to fix this and how to disable auto-update?

Nope, it doesn't solve the problem. The urls remain invisible.

Check in opera:config in the Colors section, it's probably the one labeled Color.form.text ... if it is white, then change it to black or some similarly dark color.

Nope doesn't work. Still invisible with all colors turned to something other than white.

You need to make a clean install (seriously, then it'll work).

Thx that worked.

To the opera team. Could you please return the home button by default(i know how to paste it by myself). And turn the drop down adresss arrow by default. Think a lot of users get frustrated when every new version has a different config.

Seriously, the defaults are none of your business (or mine or anyone else's). The defaults are not there for you personally. They are not there for any single person. It's crazy to think that Opera should be adapted specifically for you by default!

Opera's defaults are for Opera to decide on. Don't try to force your own setup on everyone else by default.

I don't think he was trying to force it in that way because it's his setup...
