Web search should be optionnal / removable.

Version 12.00 pre-alpha, Révision 1090.

Two web search appear, one in the tool bar and a second in the speed dial, it's ruin the spot.
Add an option to remove or hide them. Then we could, for exemple, put the favorites bar instead.

(I'm french, so sorry for my bad english.)

It seems that you are very new to Opera.

Right click on the search bar > customise > remove from toolbar.

Right click on the speed dial > delete. Or edit if you just want to change it.

Btw, which version of Opera are you using?

Version 12.00 pre-alpha, Révision 1090. As specified before.

I'm effectively new, I only used Opera on my Windows 6.5 cellphone.

I succeed to remove the web search from the tool bar, but not from the speed dial.

It's not realy an issue, but I can't move the "Star" on the tool bar. I have only four options for the position of my Favorite: Left / Right / Floating / Without.

Since your new to Opera desktop i think that you should use a stable version first and not (only) a pre-alpha one like Opera 12 is nowadays.

Ctrl+F12 > Search > select find in page > Edit > click on details, uncheck "use as speed dial search".

Right click on the toolbar, customise > appearence > Toolbars > change placement.

It isn't the bookmarks button, it's the bookmarks panel! For getting a bookmarks button you must:
Right-click on the address bar, Customize -> Appearance... -> Buttons tab -> On the Browsing section there's a "Bookmarks" button. Drag and drop it where you want it to be.
Is that what you were wishing for?
