Imposible to move a tab to another window that has only one tab
Hello,Currently it is impossible to move a tab from a window to another window without having at least two tabs in the target window. And when you do have at least two tabs in the target window, dragging the tab will cause it to be grouped with one of the tabs near the drop target. Also it's a bit annoying the way Opera is handling the drag and drop operations of tabs between windows as you actually need to target the area between tabs, not just drop it in the general tabs area.
I've attached the current system information below but I've seen this in previous versions of Opera and even in (K)Ubuntu 11.04/10.04/10.10:
Version: 12.00 pre-alpha
Build: 1085
Platform: Win32
System: Windows 7
XHTML+Voice: Plug-in not loaded
Browser identification: Opera/9.80 (Windows NT 6.1; U; Edition Next; en) Presto/2.9.220 Version/12.00
Kind regards and hope this helps.
Open the Windows Panel on the side of the screen. Drag the tab to the same window or another window.
Drop it onto another tab to stack it, or drop it between tabs to move it. A horizontal line will be shown when you're about to drop it between tabs. Its just like dragging and dropping bookmarks to rearrange them.
This method works even if "Wrap to multiple rows" is enabled, and extends the feature to drag/drop between Opera Windows.

Hi @Pesala, thanks for your response, but I'm not sure that it's what I want, I mean I don't want to drag tabs from a window list, I want to be able to do it from the interface. Your workaround for the issue is good but it's just a workaround for the problem.
Kind regards.
Kind regards.
Its a known issue, has been known for many months, and is still not fixed. Based on past history of such issues, you might be waiting at least another six months for a fix, so the work-around is all you are going to get for now. Either disable tab wrapping to multiple rows/columns, or use the Window panel instead.

On that basis, as this is a feature I use often in Opera, I shall hold off upgrading to 11 till it has been fixed. It's a little annoying if you have two screens and you can't easily drag and drop tabs between two windows.
EDIT:
Expanding this issue a little, it is also impossible to move a tab into a window that has 0 tabs in it, even using the work-around listed above.
