I just genuinely find it interesting hearing what other people want, or hearing what they think they want.
It's also interesting seeing what features that already exist people have missed.

This is simply not true. We can see many suggestions from the wish-list that have been implemented in the final version. The request to Restore the Star in the Address Bar has already been implemented for the next version.

Out of thousands of ideas, only a small percentage have been implemented over the years. If we filter out the bad ideas, the duplicates, and those that already exist in some form only about one in a thousand is worth implementing.

If I tried hard I might find ten ideas worth implementing.

1) they do read the forums and even sometimes comment (though sometimes only to prove me wrong on the topic wink)
2) your attempt at trolling is weak, a 4 year old could do better.

When you have to manage user requirements, you'll find you can discard most of them:
- Already implemented. Just click here...
- Already requested in the forum. Please search next time.
- Not adequately described
- Too exotic. Step back and look at the big picture

If a request makes it past that, then it will be prioritised and put in the list to be done. And depending on development capacity it will appear sooner or later.

Insulting the forum or insulting the development team rarely helps.
