Opera 11.5 & 12 beta will not run.......

Whenever I try to open either 11.5 or 12 beta, they bounce the icon in the dock once & then nothing happens. I have removed the plist files associated with Opera, as well as all cache files. I am running OS 10.6.8. What could be causing this problem??

You can reset Opera by deleting the following files and folders (replace Opera with ‘Opera Next’ if your using betas/Next releases). All of these files and folders are inside your Home folder.
~/Library/Opera/
~/Library/Application Support/Opera/
~/Library/Caches/Opera/
~/Library/Preferences/com.operasoftware.Opera.plist

I recommend you enable your system’s Guest account form System Preferences: Users: Guest and test from it if resetting Opera does not work. You most likely have a third party application that interferes with Opera if you are still unable to run it. If you have submitted crash logs to us, please send me the email address you used to submit them in a private message.

11.5/6 will open under the guest account, but since there is no crash report, I have no way of finding out what is causing it not to open in my current account. My laptop is basically the same as my desktop (as far as installed programs) & it will run fine on there. I tried trashing all of those files, but it did not correct the problem.

Every other browser I use opens just fine after updates/upgrades. I would really like to be able to use the newest version of your browser, but this is unacceptable. There should be nothing that interferes with it, since all other browsers work fine. I would appreciate any guidance to help me figure this out. Thanks.
