Bug in Opera 11.51.1087 for Linux Ubuntu using Yahoo WebMail
Hello to all members,I'm founding errors using Opera with Yahoo WebMail. I can't reply to mails received because text box does not appears to be activated. Another error is trying to attach files to my eMails. Also can't do copy-paste text to other browsers. These errors are very frequent, and are not present in other browsers (FireFox) at same time. Like FireFox browser, but prefer Opera because haves more speed when opening many tabs in browsing.
Need to wait next Opera release to solve this bug?
Thank you.
Hello, Sgunhouse, ¿already here and XB? I'm using Ubuntu 11.04 Natty, i386, Desktop. Latest updates for Ubuntu & Opera.
Been here 9 years now ...
The paste issues are desktop-related, that's why I asked. The clipboard has always worked well in KDE, not so well in Gnome and related desktops. I have no trouble pasting because I use KDE, but Ubuntu uses Gnome (or now Unity) ... Maybe if you run a clipboard manager while Opera is running it would work - KDE always runs their "Klipper" clipboard manager.
Opera will not let a website know the actual path to a file you are uploading - it only provides the file's name (from the final "/"). Some websites don't like that ... I can only guess that is Yahoo's problem there.
Unfortunately Yahoo Mail varies widely depending on which country's server you use. It's hard for me to speak to issues there.
