Vimeo Mobile Problem

Hi all,

I'm using the latest (till date) Opera Mobile 11.50.ADR-1110071847, and adobe Flash Player 11.0.1.152 in CM7 (2.3.5).

I not being able to watch http://vimeo.com/m videos with Opera, but with default android browser everything runs smoothly. Anyone else having this problem?

To fix this you need to turn off turbo, swich to desktop mode and set flash to enable... played fine.

turbo toggle is in settings.
the other two are under settings > advanced.

Interesting to note: These features strip or block content from a page. If any page has trouble loading you need to remove anything that is blocking how the page functions.

Thanks for the help ensbb3.

But still no joy. I already had Turbo Off and Flash enabled, and tried with both desktop and mobile mode.

Any other idea?

It worked for me... tho there was still a bug, The video didn't show up until I clicked where it was supposed to be. After that it played fine. smile

Well I'm trying to click on the missed video link and nothing happens. This is an Opera bug, I want to be able to see the videos both on desktop mode and mobile mode (working on default browser).

Yeah, it worked fine on the other browsers I tried it on too. I'll play with it some more later. I had It working better for a min but I still had to cycle through a few videos before the flash player popped up everytime.

In last update finally I'm able to see Vimeo videos if using desktop mode. But mobile mode still isn't working. I want this because vimeo supports mobile versions of my videos that require much less bandwidth so I can see them via 3G network.

Please Opera Staff correct this. All other browsers can do this, they just open the android movie player when you touch the movie. It shouldn't be that hard. I hate having to use 2 different browsers.

Hi there,

I uses Opera Mobile 11.50.ADR-1111101157.

I can see the movie in desktop version of vimeo.com, but can't see it in mobile page.

The issue is still valid?
