Opera worked until last update to 11.51 Now Just Characters

I upgraded the opera browser, which I used to play videos, since I have an ad blocker on FF that won't let me play them. Anyway after I downloaded & installed (twice just to make sure the first time wasn't corrupt), all I get is this: http://i371.photobucket.com/albums/oo154/msmuffet-photos/opera11-51.jpg
(This is a screen shot) All web pages display this way. I have Vista 32 bit. Is there a setting I can change or is it doomed?

Hey try opening the pages with the turbo off. i was having the same problem and it worked for me:)
