how to not allow users to change proxy settings
Hi, I installed opera for all my users because it's the fastest browser working with my app and some other options. The thing is that for IE i disabled proxy changes and i want to do the same for opera. How do i do that?
System Administrator's Handbook
Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed.
Every morning a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve to death.
It doesn't matter whether you are a lion or a gazelle: when the sun comes up, you'd better be running.

I've been searching and i'm almost at what i want. I have edited operaprefs_fixed.ini and i have this in it:
[Proxy]
Enable Proxy=1
HTTP server=url
FTP server=url
HTTPS server=url
This works fine because it defines the protocols as i want but it does not activate the proxy. How do i do that? What is the parameter that i should use to check the checkbox in the protocols?

I didn't tried myself but the easiest way should be:
1. configure Opera from the UI with the respective proxy settings and make sure that it works.
2. locate and open 'operaprefs.ini' with an editor and search for '[Proxy]'.
3. now you can copy/paste those proxy settings from 'operaprefs.ini' to your 'operaprefs_fixed.ini'
