Opera for Haiku OS?

I used Opera 4.5 as my primary browser on BeOS. Haiku is in the Alpha 3 stage. I'm well pleased with the progress. There are apps for everything. Opera was the best of the browsers on BeOS. Now the limitation of licenses have forced a kit browser in place. FireFox is available through version 2.0, which is no longer current. There is a need. The OS is poised to blossom into something very usable, fast, and almost bullet proof. It has access to run all the BeOS apps and the new apps that are being created. Adobe is still saying no. There is enough interest to make it worth looking at for Opera.

My own Portal is at http://mecs.zxq.net and while it is set up for my clients and hasn't got alot of play by comparison. I did put a Sponsored link out there for Haiku.

Thanks in Advance. Tell me what you think?

We could have Opera for Haiku OS, but Haiku OS should be successful where BeOS drastically failed. As you say Haiku OS is in Alpha stage, wait for it to be finalized. Anyway, it's wonderful to meet a loyal Opera user from 11 years. I am not someone from Opera desktop team, so I do not say if Opera will definitely support Haiku OS.

I think that Opera developers could consider Haiku OS support if Haiku OS overtakes or comes at par to Linux in popularity. So if you like Haiku OS and think that Haiku OS is indeed a very capable OS, make your friends use Haiku OS, and spread Haiku OS to the world in every method you can. Best of luck from my side.

Haiku OS is a Linux Var. - I have 17 corporate clients still using BeOS on their servers. For a dismal failure is sure has support.
