I can't send e-mails from Opera
Hi!I have a problem.
I use the default settings for IMAP, so I don't know where the problem is. I use opera a couple of years now, and two days before i could send e-mails. Yesterday I made a fresh install of ubuntu 11.10, and from that time i can't send e-mails.
Telnet:
telnet smtp.gmail.com 587
Trying 74.125.39.109...
Connected to gmail-smtp-msa.l.google.com.
Escape character is '^]'.
220 mx.google.com ESMTP x22sm5653941faa.5
Opera version: 11.51 (build 1087)
Platform/operating system: Ubuntu linux 11.10 (fresh install)
I'm using Gmail service with IMAP
Thanks for the help!
Joseph

Secure connection (TLS) is enabled. The incoming mails are fine, so i think the password would be ok. Of course i tried to rewrite it again, but same problem.
It happens with all messages, wich i try to send.

There are a bunch of things at <http://operawiki.info/SMTPProblems> that you can try. See the part about logging and the part about the hosts file too.

Did you remember how exactly it was messed up? (Good to know for future reference)
