12 11.05 Autohide issue with new Opera addon themes

Windows autohide for taskbar doesn't work when new addon themes are installed and enabled.
At least not on my OS (Windows 7 Home).

That's okay. Opera dev's don't listen to us anyways.
Just like Google and the rest.

Yeah, right. p

Not sure about Google, but being a volunteer I know the developers here do listen. It can be a little difficult to handle every request from the millions of Opera users though ... don't expect any miracles.

Ya well, if they really do listen, they would have fixed the news.yahoo.com page a few year ago.

The new Opera + Fastmail option is good, but needs tweakin'
Fastmail.fm is still 100 miles/hour faster than Opera's

Just to say that if Opera doesn't improve its integrated mail (browser + online) it will never catch up to Google (or the others).

Deep down, i'm sure Opera devs do read some messages but they are limited to the directives from those top guys.

Opera has a nitche in the portable phones so i don't think they are really interested in the web.

I paid for Opera once and would likely again but i don't think they want the money anymore.

Does your opera become fullscreen after minimizing?

Catch up to Google? My opera Mail is 2x faster than Gmail. Although My Opera Mail and Gmail open up in the same time on my computer, after loading My Opera Mail does all things faster than Gmail, whether it's opening mail, archiving, deleting mail - whatever. That is considering My Opera Mail is still Beta.

For Opera Mail (integrated into browser), yes it needs to be enhanced. Though Opera developers add/fix something in Opera Mail with every Opera update now, atleast they don't do meaningless updates like Mozilla does to Thunderbird.

Now returning to topic, what specifically doesn't work with Windows Taskbar auto-hide? Does the Taskbar not hide itslef or it doesn't diplay when you hover on the bottom of the screen?
Windows 7 SP1 x86 edition and Windows XP Service Pack 3.
If you need any help from me with regards to Opera, please make a comment on any of my blog posts.

True. But prior to having a DSL connection, i really didn't find My Opera Mail faster than... Fastmail.fm

I wouldn't be that harsh on TB. If i look at the changes made in Opera's configuration, when was the last revamp made there?

Exactly.
The taskbar's autohide ability ceases to work with these new themes are installed (except when the browser is completely minimized).

Very good my friend.

Competition for the best web browser is fierce and looking around at what Opera has been doing,
we're getting a better picture that they aren't giving up!

Just like these new themes (not to be confused with skins), i hope they can follow through without too many betas (like you said about Google).

there are too many problems with new themes addon,
1- when want to install a theme it doesn't show any progress bar , just like extensions, so many people has not fast internet connections and it takes more than 1 minutes to download and it doesn't show anything...

2-dragonfly with skin enabled doesn't show window title bar and cant move or closed

3-in windows 7 when you drag and tap open window to the top of screen it maximized but when theme activated it doesn't work...
