Soft Close vs. Shutdown

hello,

when opera is closed in the "normal" way (by clicking 'X' in the window bar) it behaves as expected (as set in tools > preferences > startup)

but when opera is closed by the system shutdown signal, it always shows this at startup.

this is annyoing, because if I open a link in another application while this window is displayed, opera just says "another instance of opera is running".

so please implement a handler for the shutdown signal an treat it like a normal closing signal.

regards, janismac

If i remember correctly this was fixed either in 11.51 or one of the 12 preview builds ... so either the fix is out already or it will be available by years end (12 is scheduled for December afaik)

idea Close Opera before switching off your PC, or Click Start on the dialogue on rebooting. What is so hard about that?

Note that trivial issues may not be solved for years. Don't expect your pet bug/feature request to be fixed on the next update.
