Option to shut down Opera when last tab is closed
There should be an option to shut down Opera automatically when the last tab is closed (like Google Chrome and IE). This would give a user four options when the last tab is closed:- Show the Speed Dial tab
- Show a blank tab
- Leave the workspace empty
- Close Opera
Maybe something like User Prefs -> Shut down Opera when last tab closed. If it's felt that a dialogue box is needed to confirm the action if it has come from JavaScript then that would be acceptable. e.g "A script is trying to close Opera. Do you want to allow it?" hmm... maybe that could be an option too... confirm program close from script

W3C exists for web standards not browser behaviors. It is strictly not important for all browsers to behave the same.
I know why you are requesting this, so I won't give a straightaway -1 vote. I vote +1, but this setting should be an non-default option in opera:config so that it won't change anything for everyday Opera users and ones who require this thing can activate it.
EDIT: Just for record, Firefox and Safari behave similar to Opera. Because in Firefox and Safari, the only tab can't be closed.
