Opera doesn't start

Hi everybody,

My Opera crashed today and yet I haven't managed it to start again.
It always says: "Cannot initialize Opera due to lack of memory: module 21" I've searched for a Solution but I could only find one for "...module 49" and that didn't work either.

I'm using a PC with Windows 7 32Bit, 3,5GB Ram and a AMD Phenom II x4 955 with 3,2Ghz

Edit
Opera 11.51 btw

As said on the bug report page, you will not receive any answers unless they need more information to confirm/fix the problem.

Hi,

I had the same problem, but it was solved.
The solution is this:

Search in the profile directory the folder \Local\Opera
Rename the folder for example in \Local\Opera2
Then start Opera and everything is ok.

Thank you - deleting or as mentioned in the post before renaming the profile folder in Windows 7 64Bit
C:\Users\YOURUSERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Opera
fixed the problem and I can use Opera again and also uninstall it.

I have a similar problem
I was getting repeated messages that another person was using Opera on my computer, and asking me to install a second Opera. There is nobody else on my computer, so this troubled me. Opera crashed a couple months ago, and I lost all my bookmarked tabs, except 2.

I reinstalled and I have had serious problems in my comp recently, which seem to relate to my use of Opera.

My computer froze today, and I had difficulty starting it, and had to allow it to reset to an earlier date; it seems prior to my current Opera download. Trying to get everything corrected, I allowed all my windows updates to download, etc. Each time the computer restarted, it took a very long time, perhaps 10 - 15 minutes or more. This is very unusual.

I tried to download an antivirus program, the best one from AVG, but when it got to the final stage, and requested to restart the computer, it was unable to do that because of Opera, the message said. (Now I am thinking that it is Opera which is making my restart so terrible).

I tried to uninstall Opera, from the control panel menu; each time I get a message :
[red X] Error initializing Opera: module 10 (locale)
and I am unable to get past this. How can I extract Opera from my computer?
I must run an anti-virus, and I must be able to restart! This is terrible. PLEASE help me!

Rather than hijacking this thread, I suggest you start a new one and post your problem there. Also, include some information about your system (version of Windows, 32/64 bit, version of Opera, etc.) as that will make it much easier to figure out what is going on.
