Memory gap on Live Scores in Opera Portal

I couldn't find a better place to post it, since it's not a problem with Opera, but with a site by Opera. The problem is in the Opera Portal.

The Live Scores in the Opera Portal have a problem that makes the browser consume a lot of memory. Firstly I thought the problem was Opera 12, but then I tested with Opera 11.51 and it also have the same problem. I also tested with IE9 and the same issue happened.

And the problem is fast, in few seconds Opera and IE were using 1Gb of the RAM memory. Probably there's a problem in the javascript that is looping.
