Custom image for speeddial
I use custom thumbnails in my speeddial. Very often I make mistakenly the gesture for reload page while and all my custom thumbnails are gone. Sometimes Opera reloads them all even if I didn't say so. I used to set them as "read only" to prevent problems, but lately Opera seems to write new files, so I have to change all filenames again. Would it be possible to add an option for a custom image for each thumbnails, that never gets changed by the browser? It's a pain for me, right now.
Try ForceSpeedDialLogos extension.
I can't get that extension to work (Opera 11.51). Anyway, some of my thumbnails are for sessions, not for web addresses, so it wouldn't work for them.
Why don you lock your speed dial to prevent any changes like accidentally clicking close button etc..
enter opera:config in address bar---> search for speed dial state----> change from 1 to 2--->save
