Opera and OpenDNS
I don't know if anyone has had this problem or if this topic is even in the right category, but I use OpenDNS because of its speedy Name Servers and the fact that I can block porno sites, as I no longer like to waste time viewing them.OpenDNS works fine with IE, Chrome, and Firefox, but for some unknown reason, Opera is still able to reach "bad sites", even though I have flushed my "DNS Resolver Cache" from a command prompt, and all of my browser caches individually, and with Ccleaner. I have emptied Opera's cache and history by running "Delete Private Data", and yet, somehow, Opera is able to by pass OpenDNS' filtering capabilities. How? (Even after I empty the cache, Opera is able to bring us my "test porno site". The only way I can stop it is to specifically block it in "Blocked Content") If Opera has nothing in its cache to pull up my test porno site, and OpenDNS is set to block porno, how is it doing it???
To Opera's credit, the links on my test porno page are blocked by OpenDNS, and OpenDNS' filtering is partially effective in Opera. At this point, I am totally perplexed. How can I make Opera play by OpenDNS' rules?
Any help or insight anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated.
Incidentally, I'm not addicted to porno (anymore), I would just like OpenDNS to work properly with all internet browsers, especially Opera (the last holdout), which incidentally, is a very good one that can save web pages as a single file, a major plus with me, and it's quite speedy too.
Thanks!

It could well be `turbo' related as you are then using a proxy server and opendns as your dns server.
I have had no problems using opendns with opera as such.
I have found though that at times using other dns servers other than my ISP dns server can result in problems accessing sites in general.
By switching back to my ISP dns server these problems go away.
Also I think that some internet providers do for some reason affect the use of both `proxy servers' and `dns servers'
