Hotkey to cycle between address bar, web page, and panel?
Is there a hotkey to cycle through the different parts of Opera like address bar, web page, panel (if it's open)?In particular I want a hotkey which gets my cursor from the address bar or web page to the bookmark panel. (I use bookmarks in Opera's panel rather than opening a bookmarks tab or using the Bookmarks menu.)
Didn't some key like F6 do this in earlier versions?
PS; I use Opera 11 on WinXP with single key shortcuts enabled.
Jane
F4 still focuses the panel for me.
F8 focuses the URL field
F9 focuses the page.
Defaults
F4 = Set alignment, "hotlist", 6 | Set alignment, "hotlist", 0
F8 = Focus address field | Focus message list
F9 = Focus page

F9 focuses the page.

F8 = Focus address field | Focus message list
F9 = Focus page

No, and I think you can't even make your own since a cycle would get stuck once you focus to address field.
There also seems to be no shortcut to focus an (open) panel...very strange.
The closest you can get for address field/page is what Pesala proposed: F8/F9
For focussing an (open) bookmark panel you would have to create your own shortcut, e.g.
F10 = Focus panel, "bookmarks"
This would open the panel if it's closed, but wouldn't close it when it's opened.
For opening/closing the bookmarks panel you could use Opera's default Ctrl+B
BTW: F4 is different: Toggles the "Hotlist", the (by default leftmost) buttonlist. If you have customized your panels and set the hotlist to "off", F4 opens whatever panel you have activated last time or closes the panel.

You could try, but it isn't likely to work as desired. Either it'll switch between the first two options (whichever two you list first) or just the first action.
We already have 3 separate keys for this of course: F7 to focus the panel, F8 the address bar and F9 the page. You can examine those if you need to know the correct commands.

Nice...that's the one I missed. I searched for "panel" as everyone - including you and Opera- is calling this area. Never dreamed that Opera would call the action "Activate hotlist window". (Search Opera help for "hotlist window"... "Did you mean: hot list window?"....No results for “hot list window”

I used panel because I knew you'd understand it, actually. The Hotlist is the entire section containing the panel, the panel selector bar, and all related stuff ... but the term doesn't see much use these days. Same with "pagebar" (the tab bar), "document toolbar" (address bar), etc. Public names get changed according to what resonates with people, but internal names don't change unless they do a complete rewrite. So the internal names like pagebar have been around since the last complete rewrite (7.0 - I started posting here during the testing for that version), but you probably won't find it in the Help files.
