Opera and Facebook problems

i've read through these forums quite a bit and found a lot of people with problems on facebook but not a single solution to my problem

facebook loads correctly it seems but chat doesn't load and although notifications show (if there are new ones) by clicking on them i only seem to toggle them on and off without the notification list actually appearing

error console shows a lot of errors, all unhandled exceptions, and a few warnings

is there any word on this? working on a solution? expected date? anything?
i find it hard to believe that opera devs aren't working towards a solution on one of the internets biggest sites

just to cover some if the solutions i've seen suggested here:
nothing in site preferences change a thing
cookies don't matter
mask as firefox does nothing

Facebook chat loads fine and seems to work here. No problems with notifications either.

Do you have browser.js enabled and updated? : http://www.opera.com/docs/browserjs/

Current browser.js status: enabled.
Target version and time stamp of the active browser.js file is Opera Desktop 11.50 core 2.9.168, October 18, 2011. Active patches: 202 .

i forgot to mention that the photoviewer for facebook doesn't load either

also with youtube videos, i can only click for one function, after that the player is unresponsive, it still plays the video, i just can't click anything anymore

any clues?

Any extensions or userjs being used? What about adblockers?

...well now i just feel silly

i didn't even think to look at extensions!
turned out that an extension named NoAd by Alexey Ruzanov (can't even find on extension list now) was the culprit

i was getting so frustrated with this problem that i even turned to chrome...lasted five days before running back to opera gasping for air, what a pain that browser is! however i feel that way about all non-opera browsers and have since the day i tried it some 6-7 years ago

so, thanks LeoCG!

do expect minor hiccups at present as a lot of changes going on with the new timeline rollout.
