Yes, no idea what to look for. Noticed nothing wrong when pasting some text over and over again in the search-field in google.

Ooooh noo. When i scaling the site letters in search field do not scale. This is big problem for me.
gdveggie - Yes! Yes! You right! Problem in this. I highlight problem area near the end of the text.
And yes, problem is lost if i revert 100%.

Downgrading to Opera 11.51 for example is in my opinion not really a good idea in this case as Opera 11.52 fixed a security issue.

Even with your description, it is very difficult to tell what the problem is. But it does look a little strange when you highlight the text in the search box starting at about 34" until about 40" --- the highlighted letters seem to pop up to a larger font size as soon as you highlight them. (...maybe the size of the previous scaling before you scaled back down?).
Is that the problem?
It also seemed like you moved the mouse around that same area near the end of your pasted text a lot with nothing happening, but I couldn't tell if you were trying to highlight and it wasn't responding, or if you were just trying to call our attention to that area.
If it is the jumpy font size, I don't have an answer, but I've seen several forum posts about other quirky font, layout, and display problems when viewing certain pages at something other than 100%. I can't tell what your settings were at any point in the video, but does the problem go away as soon as you revert to 100%?
OK, well, I'm glad we know what the problem is. But like I said, I don't have any answers other than to say that zooming/scaling seems to result in a variety of quirky problems with fonts and page layout. You might try a forum search with key words "font" and "zoom" to see if you find anything helpful.
As far as I could tell from your video it was scaling up and down nicely everywhere else on the page, and even in the text box, except when you highlight text in the text box. If so, it seems like you're probably at least able to use the browser at 120% for the most part. If it was working better in a previous Opera version, you might want to revert to that version until the bug gets worked out. (Be sure to backup everything, especially Opera mail and passwords if you use them, before reverting as some changes made during an update are not reversible to a previous version. That way if something goes wrong with the older version, you can just continue with 11.52.)
If you don't get any better answers in this thread or find anything elsewhere in the forum, you could file a bug report with the Bug Report Wizard, but it would have to be MUCH more clearly explained than above. See How to submit good bug reports, and maybe get some assistance writing a clear English description of the problem. If you try to use a video or snapshot to help explain, it would be helpful if it could be much more of a closeup on the problem area.

gdveggie - yes, i send bag report.
If you do, please post back here with the bug report number (DSK-xxxxxx without the @ that makes it an email address, so it doesn't get harvested for email spam).
That way those that are interested can watch new releases for a bug fix.
