This issue is happening with me also on Firefox 3.6.23 and on mobile using Opera Mini 6.1

The only browser that seems to be working on is I.E6, probably fine too on later versions of I.E

The only way I managed to post was by using an older browser such as I.E6

Is this a server issue?

Still going on. It does appear to be random. If I stay in the forums, it's mostly ok. If I go from forums to my account>settings I get logged out. When I log back in and go to subscriptions, sometimes I'm logged out, sometimes I'm not.

I was having the same problem... To fix. Disable Javascript and login again... that fixed it for me for Firefox and Opera. Good luck.

Every single my.opera.page. p

If I have javascript enabled, I don't get SsoSession and SsoToken cookies served when I log in. I do get opera_session and opera_ssl cookies, support check and utm* cookies. But as soon as I open another page, even trying to submit a post, those cookies are wiped and I am logged out.

When I disable javascript, I also get SsoSession and SsoToken at log in and get to keep them, as normally happen.

My normal setting for my.opera.com is "accept cookies only from the site I visit". But changing that to "accept cookies" didn't do anything. I also tried deleting cookies4.dat before trying again with "accept cookies" but still the same. I then even tried a clean profile (by temporarily renaming USERNAME\Application Data\Opera\Opera folder) with all default setting but still experienced the same issue.

Maybe your time is yet to come, Steve. I'm in NZ which is in UTC+13 time zone. Wait until 7am Friday morning. devil

lol Actually I don't think the time setting has anything to do with this. Another NZ based My Opera friend doesn't have this problem.

Robert. Another thing: with javascript AND content blocker enabled, the utm* cookies will not load either. But the content blocker has no negative effect if JS is disabled. And this is all on Opera 11.52/1100 (other specs)

I'm off for the evening, guys. Good luck bug hunting. bye

Same thing here. Login works only if JavaScript disabled, and no difference on what pages opened or what browser used. Moreover, this happens also on different computers and IP locations.

However, using another account on the same browsers and computers still work.

Do notice this account is used by Shoot & Tell group moderators.

Still having the same issue logging in, but works with javascript disabled, but I need this enabled for yahoo mail, so hopefully this can be fixed soon.

By the way when you ask about site settings, where exactly? do you mean on the forum section, opera, or the browser section? I ask as I use Firefox 3.6.23 and I always accept cookies for opera.

Hi there!

A couple of questions:
1. Are you using “remember me” at the login page?
2. Do you get the “bad referer” page or something that looks like the page was not found?

No, because we S&T mods usually are logged in using our own accounts. Mine works just fine.

Nope, right after login nothing indicate being kicked out till I try reload page or open some other page (do a new request). EDIT: If the followin page is public, I see just login status changed to 'not login' on top right corner. If not allowed to see the page unless login, then the normal message as usual.

Robert, thanks very much for that, I just posted a question over at the Opera Mini thread asking if it's possible to disable Javascript on Opera Mini 6.1 for mobiles, thought to ask just incase I ever need to do this on my phone. Perhaps by doing it generally on the phone settings will do this, but I didn't see anything about JavaScript on the settings for Opera Mini 6.1.

Hopefully won't need to do it again of course, lol

In some special circumstances, the Single SignOn cookies (which allows you to sign in once and be signed in for Dev Opera, My Opera Mail, My Opera etc) was being prematurely destroyed. Now the cookies should no longer be destroyed for those users. coffee
