Mobile Mini screen view in full desktop Opera
Hi allI remember being able to view a web site as it would show in a small screen as on a mobile phone. I can't remember how to do this or find out how to do it in Opera 11.51 for Windows 7.
Is this still a feature? If so, how is it selected?
Thanks WIll(UK)
I don't know if it's properly supported since v10.01, but you could modify your profile standard_menu.ini to include the handheld mode reference below for it to appear in the browser view menu or create a button:
[Browser View Common Menu] Submenu, MI_IDM_ZOOM_50_PARENT, Zoom Menu Submenu, DI_IDSTR_M2_FOLDER_IDX_IMAGES, Images Menu Submenu, M_BROWSER_VIEW_MENU_STYLE, Style Menu Submenu, MI_IDM_ENCODING_AUTOMATIC_PARENT, Encoding Menu ;Feature Mail, Submenu, M_BROWSER_MENU_BAR_MAIL, Mail Standard View Menu Item, MI_IDM_FULLSCREENTOGGLE = Enter fullscreen | Leave fullscreen Item, M_BROWSER_VIEW_MENU_MEDIUM_SCREEN = Enable mediumscreen mode | Disable mediumscreen mode Item, M_BROWSER_VIEW_MENU_SMALL_SCREEN = Enable handheld mode | Disable handheld mode
Thanks CraigPD
I used your button option, once I worked out I had to drag the box onto a control panel it worked a treat.
It seems strange that such a useful feature is no longer available as standard.
Cheers - Will.
