Very slow login to Gmail on Opera 12.00 alpha Build 1116

Am I the only one with this issue ? It has been happening for about two weeks with the beta releases too. I finally have to click HTML view to login.

Instead of slow login, it's all black screen for me when logging into gmail. Makes it unusable.

Same here in Opera 12.00 Build 1116, working fine in Opera 11.52 Build 1100 tho. Using Windows 7 64bit
It stops here,

and after maybe one minute it stops and says "It takes longer than usual. Try to load the page again"

yes, I have the exact same problem, using Windows 7 x64. I'm thinking it's the 64 bit Windows that is causing the problem, since others do not seem to have the same problem as we do.

Same problem here as shown on the screenshots - Loading bar is stuck at ~90%. Identifying as other browsers doesn't work (Gmail wants ActiveX as IE and just loads Basic HTML view as Firefox).

(also Win7 64bit)

nothing wrong for with latest opera 12 alpha build 1116 on windows 8 I think it really depends on Google servers and your internet connection i mean sure it can be slow but the times i did notice I think Google was doing maintainence

Nah, it has been like this for days. Tested it from multiple machines / networks with the same Opera version and also with IE for comparison which it always worked on.

Yes, on Opera 11.52 Build 1100, I login very quickly as normal. With the latest beta, it's very slow or I have to resort to HTML view.

As of today, Gmail is working again with the latest build.

you have to note well as with my constant experience with gmail with beta build/snapshots/opera next builds gmail does not like them for some reason and "treats" them differently. But yes it also could be the build as well as you were saying.
