IRC - Internet Relay Chat
Heres an awesome idea for you guys, opening IRC channels as tabs in opera. Now that would be awesome.IRC is a simple protocol, you guys could easily add it.
If that works out, then maybe a separate tab for private chats. One tab showing various private chats, could run on Google Talk and MSN.
erm, irc is already in opera since a looooong time.

As serious says, IRC is there in Opera since a long time. To access it click the Opera button and select "Mail and Chat Accounts". Click Yes on the confirmation prompt and then you get a window asking which account you want to create. Select the last option - "Chat (IRC)".
Windows 7 SP1 x86 edition and Windows XP Service Pack 3.
